This may perhaps be analogous to the old belief that the universe is earth-centric versus sun-centric. Here I am referring to (pg 293), "Interpolated into the circuit, we metamorphose from individual interiorized subjectivities to actors exercising agency within extended cognitive systems that include non-human actors".

This sounds cool if it were a movie...aka The Matrix. Excuse me, but am I the only one uncomfortable with thinking of a computer as GOD or a superior "being" of any kind? I say we're talking about giving away too much control through this line of thinking (or maybe I am a control freak), even if there is talk of melding man and code together into any kind of complex network.
